The mission of the West Virginia Division of Rehabilitation Services is to enable and empower individuals with disabilities to work and live independently. WVDRS is a State-Federal program designed to assist people with disabilities in obtaining the skills needed to work and to live independently. WVDRS helps businesses recruit, hire and /or retain qualified employees.

Services

Depending on your needs, interests, and capabilities, WVDRS can provide a wide variety of services. A counselor may guide you in selecting the appropriate services needed to reach your goals. Services include but are not limited to: vocational counseling, vocational evaluation/career exploration, equipment/assistive technology, situational assessment/job development/job coaching, vocational training, job placement, life skills training, advocacy, and peer mentoring.
